DairyTeam was established in 1999 in recognition of the need for better advice for dairy farmers. The key component for the company was working along side farmers as a team, hence the name DairyTeam.

The company's basic principles were built on trust, independence and integrity. DairyTeam's philosophy is to provide farmers with sound, motivational and challenging advice.

The company has established a technical and financial consultancy business with headquarters in Feilding, servicing farms from Northland to the South Island.

DairyTeam has developed a grass based production system incorporating the strategic use of supplement, targeting high per cow and per hectare performance. These basic principles are incorporated in each individual farming system.

The company prides itself on developing close personal and professional relationships with clients, with regular one-on-one farm visits. This close relationship with clients enables consultants to have an intimate and ongoing understanding of the farming business.

A financial analysis program has been developed to monitor business performance. This incorporates a company database which will compare company and industry financial KPI's.
